Work in progress
Polyment Nexus. Modern engineering inside the perimeter.
Our approach to running modern software and AI where it's hardest to adopt: air-gapped systems, high-assurance estates and sovereign infrastructure. It's early, and we're developing it in the open with the programmes that need it.
Secure zone · Polyment Nexus
What it is
The bridge between modern practice and constrained reality.
The commercial AI and cloud-native ecosystem evolved for always-connected environments. Secure government and defence estates didn't. That creates a capability gap: the programmes that arguably need the most uplift are the least able to adopt patterns built elsewhere.
Polyment Nexus is our response: a growing set of patterns, reference architectures and tooling that let secure organisations adopt cloud-native, DevOps and AI without compromising posture, compliance or operational integrity.
In short: making modern software usable on networks that were never built for it.
Pillars
Four areas of focus.
Offline AI
Local model deployment, offline RAG, agentic patterns and engineering tooling that operate without egress. Cloud-grade capability behind the air gap.
Sovereign cloud-native
Reference architectures and platform patterns for adopting Kubernetes, observability and modern DevOps in classified or disconnected estates.
Assurance-aware engineering
Engineering practice that accounts for governance, traceability and supply-chain integrity from the first commit, not bolted on at the assurance gate.
Secure delivery flow
CI/CD, dependency management and code-review patterns that work end-to-end inside a controlled environment, including the path between low side and high side.

Status
Nexus is a work in progress. We'd like to hear from programmes facing this problem.
If your programme is working out how to bring modern engineering or AI capability inside a secure perimeter, we'd be glad to compare notes. No commitment.
